Your training on little calories, while lifting heavy, and get to 5% body fat is WILD. I'd be cranky too. Competitive bodybuilders get down to those low body fat percentages, but don't stay there too long after their shows.

I'm glad you returned to a healthier and more sustainable fitness journey. Happy and healthy beats ripped aesthetics every day in my book.
