Stop Buying New Cameras
Your wallet can’t take it anymore
If you have a fondness for taking photos, chances are you have one for cameras as well. It’s easy to look up one day and realize you have quite the collection of cameras and an addiction to buying more.
I can’t say I blame you as I currently have more cameras in my possession than I can use. About every other year, I go through my collection and sell or giveaway cameras I haven’t used much during that time.
We live in gear-driven times, and it’s impossible not to be curious about various cameras when your passion or livelihood rests in photography or videography.
However, I am going to implore you to stop buying new cameras. It’s for your own good, and your wallet will thank me later. I’m here to help.
It feels like clockwork at this point, but new cameras flood the market in time for the holiday season every fall. Each camera marketed as the next and greatest piece of gear you could ever hope to own — new features, upgraded specifications, all the bells, and whistles to make the girls ooh and ahh.
