It’s National Novel Writing Month
I’m joining the challenge.
It’s November, and there’s more than turkey on the horizon. I foresee millions of pages written soon all across the country.
This month happens to be National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo).
What is NaNoWriMo?
It’s a challenge to writers and aspiring writers to complete 50,000 words or more for a complete first draft of a book. To learn more, click here.
I’ve known about this challenge for a few years but have yet to participate. That’s going to change this year. I plan to join the movement and put some words on the page.
All stories start with an idea.
“Getting an idea should be like sitting on a pin; it should make you jump up and do something.” — E.L. Simpson.
Lucky for me, I’ve got one. I’ve been kicking an idea around for a while, and I’m ready to give the concept shape.
Time to sit my butt in the chair and get some words on the page.
If you have a story idea and haven’t made progress, now’s your chance to get it out of your head.
